What It Is

Helichrysum italicum is a Mediterranean aromatic plant sometimes called immortelle or everlasting flower. Steam distillation produces an essential oil whose composition may include neryl acetate, alpha-pinene, gamma-curcumene, italidiones, and other volatile compounds, with proportions varying by geography and harvest.

Immortelle Flower Oil is different from a nonvolatile Helichrysum extract. Research performed on ethanol or supercritical extracts cannot be transferred directly to the essential oil without considering their different chemical profiles.

What It Does
