Calcium

Calcium

Supports strong bones and overall mobility

Key Benefits

  • Supports bone and tooth structure
  • Supports normal muscle function
  • Supports nerve signaling
  • Contributes to normal blood clotting

How It Works

Calcium combines with phosphate to form hydroxyapatite, the mineral matrix that gives bones and teeth rigidity. Bone continuously remodels and also serves as a calcium reservoir to help maintain tightly controlled calcium levels in the blood.

Vitamin D supports active intestinal calcium absorption. Absorption percentage generally declines as the amount consumed at one time rises, and different supplement salts provide different proportions of elemental calcium and may have different food requirements.
