I love every single thing about this Rose Lip Serum from elvis+elvin! The serum feels good on application. It is smooth rather than sticky, so it’s truly a serum instead of a gloss. My lips feel extremely hydrated and moisturized while wearing this, and it has the lightest pink color along with a bit of shine to lend the appearance of healthy, plumped up lips. It’s that something extra for your lips!
I’m just really happy with this serum! Definitely five stars, and if I could rate it higher I would. LOVE….and highly recommend!

This lip serum is by far my favorite item from elvis+elvin. I don't mind the slight rose scent it imparts, as well as the slight rose flavor, since neither last more than a few minutes (or maybe I become nose blind). Plus the scent isn't strong enough be offensive or come across as a bad taste. I usually wear it at night as a mask, and that really works. My lips are nice and smooth when I wake up. This is the first fall-going-into-winter that my lips haven't already become chapped and dry regardless of what I'd put on them. This lip serum is thicker than most, and very emollient. It stays on and in place all night, and is still there in the morning. I've even dabbed a bit on dry cuticles now and again. While I might not have had the best success with other elvis+elvin products, this one is a happy success for me.

This serum is amazing. I am obsessed with anything rose so that was a plus right off the top.
The scent is light enough I don't think people with sensitivities will be bothered by it. The subtlety reminds me of smelling bouquets of roses rather than an extract or perfume. According to INCIDecoder, there's only two ingredients with perfuming properties;
Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil
Rosa Damascena Flower Oil
So keep that in mind if you are sensitive to smells.
The claims of this serum being hydrating are true. Not only are the ingredients super rich and beneficial for your skin, but you can tell the difference immediately.
Upon application, I felt immediate relief. It does have a slight stay-power but very minimal. That being said, you won't feel the need to constantly reapply the product at all.
After the first few uses, I noticed my lips felt and looked much more hydrated and filled in - the wrinkles of skin less visible, and no tough, dry areas.
One thing to note;
The plumping you get from this serum is probably NOT going to be what you're expecting.
The ingredients assist plumping by providing hydration, as opposed to forcing blood vessels to expend/rush to the lip area. The ingredients hydrate and soothe, filling in dry/aging areas as I mentioned above.
For my first few uses, I did think I felt the tingling typical of plumpers that use peppermint and the like, but I think it was placebo or just getting used to the gloss as I usually don't wear that type of product.
The color is sheer, which is nice for everyday use, but I wouldn't be upset if there were options for tints.
I have two complaints;
- The applicator is too small and dainty. I feel like I have less control with it than a standard applicator, which makes me nervous to apply this without a mirror. I am a clutz. I will make mistakes.
- The price of this product is a bit much for my preferences. I tend to avoid mid- to high- end pricing as I don't believe products like this should be expensive. Honestly, what the price is at the time of this review isn't horrible, but once I run out of the product I have, I'll probably wait until there's a sale.

This lip balm is nice. It doesn’t have much of a tint, but the feel is so soft and velvety, and it’s not sticky at all. It doesn’t have a scent or fragrance. It is super hydrating and is smooth enough to put any lipstick over it.

Rose isn't really my favorite scent, but I've enjoyed using the elvis+elvin Rose Lip Serum with Hyaluronic Acid. It is a nice, light pink formula with a light lip gloss texture. The pink is quite faint on the lips, and I like that, because I can wear it anytime as a lip balm. It's not totally sheer, but it's not a showy color.
The scent is definitely rose, and I do notice the taste of rose when I first apply the product. The taste of rose is not something that I love, but thankfully, both the smell and taste dissipate very quickly.
The formula doesn't sting, and it's not uncomfortable in any way. It is thick and emollient on the lips in a very nice way. It does nicely hydrate and moisturize the lips, and it stays on the lips for a decent amount of time. It also has a nice slip to it. I don't find myself having to reapply very often.
Overall, this is a nice, hydrating lip product. It's not my favorite ever, but I have continued to use it. It does what it claims to do, and it's comfortable to wear. I would recommend this to anyone who is a big fan of rose scents, or anyone looking to try something new and unique.

I really like this serum. First, it is packaged like a quality product. The bottle and wand for applying are nice. I loved the feel of the serum, it felt like a moisturizing lip product and it did not feel too heavy or greasy to me. Even better was the next day because I truly felt like it improved the texture of my lips. I will likely make this a permanent part of my skin care routine. I highly recommend it!
