I had never heard of or tried a skin softener before this product. I must say I like it a lot, I was very surprised that it did make my skin feel softer immediately. The frosted glass bottle is gorgeous, such a beautiful bottle that just happens to be reusable. The pump part does twist off so you've got this beautiful reusable bottle and a lovely product. It has a light floral lilac scent but it's not overwhelming or irritating. When you use the product spray it on a cotton pad be sure to go light with it because it will leave a sticky feeling if you use too much. You repeat this 2 to 3 times a day, my skin felt softer and I just thoroughly enjoyed this product. Overall, I think it's great...everything about it I like and would recommend it.

This is a nice product, though like many other reviewers, I found it to be confusing as to when/how it is supposed to be used. At first, I thought it was just me that was confused, but when I looked at the product listing to see of it had further information, I discovered that I wasn't alone. It is well packaged. It it thin like water, but has a really nice scent to it. Like some others, I used this like a toner since that is what made most sense to me. I washed my face, then used this, then added a moisturizer. It does seem to help my skin feel smoother and retain moisture and seems like it is a lovely product. I just wish the product information was a little clearer so I would know if I'm using it the way it was intended to maximize benefits. Overall, it seems to be a really nice product and the only reason I didn't give it five stars is due to the lack of clarity.

I am loving this Elvis & Elvin Lilac Softener I skin care product!It's light and slick and my skin loves it! It says to use a cotton pad or swab, but I feel way too much of our precious facial products is soaked up by them. I just squirt it onto my hand and pat on my face and neck. Lilac is my favorite scent and is one of the reasons I wanted to try this product. I can definitley smell the lilac and though it's not subtle it is not at all overpowering. I'm using this day and night. I have not had any adverse reactions but then I also do not have sensitive skin.At just over a whopping four ounzes I feel this is a fabulous product and a great buy at it's current price of $28.95 and I highly recommend it.

This doesn't quite act like toner but it's the same consistency and applied the same way. I think it would work best used after toner, it seems to help hydrate prior to moisturizer. I'm not a skincare queen, so it would be helpful to know when to use this and what benefits it actually has, because right now it just seems like Lilac-scented water and I'm just not sure how it fits. The scent does smell natural and not chemically, so that's nice.

I have been using this product for a couple of weeks. It seems to make my face very smooth the morning after using. It also seems to help a good bit with acne scarring. It smells nice and doesn’t burn my face.

I love the smell, and it's a really nice product, but it's thin. My solution to this since I'm a bit of a hoarder is to put it in a small spray bottle. If you can decant into something that will miss it onto your face you'll save a lot of product. I like to miss it on and then apply other products on top of it. Also the smell is fantastic. I've never used this brand before but I think I'll stay on the lookout for more of their products.

I really like this product but there is one thing I really wish was different. The color of the toner is a purpleish color. This may sound gross but I like to see what toners pick up on my cotton pads. Because this is tinted I have no idea what is actually picked up if it actually is working. I would give it a lower review Because I’m not quite sure how much is getting extracted, but the moisturizing element in the toner makes it a solid four stars.

This softener is more of a toner to me. I apply it after cleaning my face and before applying a layer of moisturizer. It seems to absorb quickly into my skin and doesn’t leave any greasy film. The softener is infused with lilac extract, vitamin B3, peach flower, and hyaluronic acid, according to the label. I think it is softening my skin and it has a pleasant floral aroma.

When I first saw this, I wasn't sure what this product was. The name softener was a bit confusing. I thought it was a hair product at first but, it's a skincare product. The product is very watery in consistency and it reminds me of a toner/essence. I smoothed on some of the product and it was absorbed quickly. It left my face feeling refreshed and soft. The product had a pleasant scent. I think they need to update the label to include clearer instructions on what the product is.
