What is HyaluroSphere™ XD?
HyaluroSphere™ XD is ELVIS+ELVIN’s expanded multi-polymer hydration complex. It combines four hyaluronic materials with Polyglutamic Acid, Tremella fuciformis sporocarp extract, xylitylglucoside, anhydroxylitol, xylitol and propanediol. The broader network is designed for intensive water binding, surface film formation and moisture retention.
How is XD different from 4D and 8D?
All three use multiple hyaluronic materials and xylitol-derived humectants, but XD adds Polyglutamic Acid and Tremella extract as additional water-binding, film-forming components. That expanded multi-polymer network gives XD its intensive, cushioning hydration positioning. The exact level of performance still depends on use concentration and the finished formula.
What does polyglutamic acid contribute?
Polyglutamic acid is a water-binding polymer that forms a flexible film at the skin surface and helps support moisture retention. It complements hyaluronic acid rather than replacing it, broadening the texture and hydration profile of the complex. Its cosmetic benefit is topical moisturization, not exfoliation despite the word “acid” in its name.
Why is Tremella fuciformis included?
Tremella sporocarp extract supplies polysaccharides that attract water and contribute film-forming slip and softness. It adds a fungal-derived biopolymer pathway alongside hyaluronic acid and polyglutamic acid. The ingredient is an extract from the Tremella mushroom’s fruiting body, not a living organism in the finished product.
Can HyaluroSphere™ XD permanently fill wrinkles?
No. Intensive hydration can temporarily plump the surface and soften lines that become more noticeable when skin is dry. HyaluroSphere™ XD is not an injectable filler and does not permanently alter deeper wrinkles or facial structure. Ongoing use is needed to maintain hydration-related improvements.
Who is HyaluroSphere™ XD best for, and how should it be layered?
It is particularly relevant for dehydrated, tight-feeling or seasonally dry skin and for formulas emphasizing a cushioned, replenished feel. Apply the finished product as directed, then use a moisturizer or facial oil if additional water-loss protection is needed. Oily skin may prefer it in a lightweight serum, while very dry skin may benefit from a richer finishing cream.
