First thing I noticed is this smells just like the pink J&J's Baby lotion, it could be just me but it has that powdery scent. I used this to help clean my scalp and I didn't feel anything or see a difference. I have a lot of hair and it's thick so maybe it had trouble getting down to my scalp. In the end later on in the day I would scratch my head and would find like salt granules under my nails, one or two but would find more throughout the day. The scent also did not stay on my hair. I'm chalking this up to my hair being so densely packed by the roots.

I really love how clean my hair felt after one use of this purifying shampoo. It kinda took me a minute to figure out how to lather the shampoo as it’s a thick heavy duty scrub, but once you get the larger going, it’s easy to maneuver through your strands and scalp and you can instantly feel how clean your hair is!It didn’t dry out my hair, or cause any kind of damage, in fact my hair was much more shiny and a lot more softer. It’s a little too pricey for me to order again, but I would definitely recommend it to others if you’re looking for a deep-deep clean you can feel!

This is way too expensive for what it claims coz I don’t see much difference after finishing the container.Hubby hates the scent eventhough I use less since he says this give him headaches and cause him to sneeze at night. So if you’re sensitive with scent this might trigger sneezing and or allergies. That said, this is very easy to use. A tablespoon amount can go a long way. I have a shoulder length hair. Straight hair normal.Lathers real well for that amount. If I used this every other night it leaves my hair heavy and very oily so not sure if it’s supposed to leave your hair like that.No skin irritation experienced other than triggering sneezing in mY husband.I love the scent and it also last overnight so that’s a good thing. If you use this in the morning you can expect to have this last all day,

I can honestly say that I've never tried another product like this. It's like a scalp treatment and a clarifying shampoo combined, and it comes in a jar like some hair masks do. But, see, in my experience, here's the thing about products that try to be and do all kinds of different things at once: rarely do they do any one thing particularly well.I kind of feel like that's what's going on here. As a scalp treatment, it's OK. As a shampoo, it's OK. As a clarifying shampoo...it just didn't cut it for me. And if you've ever tried to open a jar with wet hands in the shower, you know why that's a suboptimal packaging choice. Also, it smells very strongly of roses. How you feel about that depends on how much you like rose-scented products, I suppose. I'm not much of a fan, myself. My primary interest in this product was as a clarifying shampoo. I have naturally wavy hair that needs a lot of styling products to look nice. I use a clarifying shampoo every other wash to cut through the grease and break down the products. As a clarifier, this just isn't strong enough for me. It was quite nice as a regular shampoo, however. The sea salt scalp scrub aspect I really do like. It didn't make my scalp tingly at all as some similar products do. But the little salt bits have a nice exfoliating effect. At this price point ($44 as of this review date), I think I would prefer to keep it for occasional use as a scalp treatment, rather than a clarifying shampoo. That way, I'll use less and make it last longer.I'm conflicted as to whether I like this enough to recommend it. It's such a strange mix of things. I will say this: overall, I believe this to be a good product. Maybe not great, but definitely good. Especially as a scalp scrub. I quite like it for that.

This elvis+elvin Purifying Shampoo with Dead Sea Salt works as great as the similar product from Christophe Robin. I have very oily hair so the sea salt scrub is a must have for me. Thi elvis+elvin scrub is more lightweight but still cleans well. The price is $9 lower which is a better value for money. Definitely worth trying!

This product feels more like an exfoliant with a coarse feel like a body scrub. It does a great job of getting rid of excess buildup in the hair but does get caught in my thick hair, causing more build-up. I would recommend using it occasionally for this reason.

I love this shampoo so much. It smells great and it feels nice on my scalp. I normally use a lot of products in my hair, so I have a bit of buildup after day 3, but my hair and scalp feel very clean and soft after using this shampoo. I have recommended it to others because it works so well!

I never thought I'd find something I liked enough to say I'd reorder it, not after using Phillip B's clarifying pre wash. But this, this is an amazing product. My scalp feels clean and build up free. Follow up with a deep conditioner and you'll be happy.

I am a huge fan of trying new beauty products and this looked so different than most of what I use so I was all in. Right off the bat this was a shampoo in a jar. I have tried hair masks that were in jars but never a full shampoo. Another new feature of this shampoo was that there was a grit to it in the form of salt. I have used salt and sugar scrubs on my body as an exfoliant but never on my scalp. I have very oily hair and my scalp itches all the time so I was thinking that exfoliating my scalp would really help.I was not disappointed. My scalp feels great as long as I use it every other day or so. The salt is just rough enough to really clean my scalp but not so rough that it hurts. I will say it is a little rough to get it all the way down to the scalp with the shampoo as it is much thicker more like a conditioner. It is also in a jar so you will have to scoop it out with your fingers. I personally like using a silicone scalp brush to ensure it gets all the way in. After using the shampoo my scalp definitely feels great and my hair looks clean for days. I am really pleased with those things.Unfortunately there are a few things I don't love. First off the price is pretty high but again beauty items are on the rise so that isn't the end of the world. The scent however is. While the scent is pleasant it is beyond overwhelming. I personally had 4 different people ask me if I was wearing perfume at work. The catch I showed at 8 pm on Thursday night and didn't see them until 3 pm on Friday. That is way to long for my hair to smell that long especially when they are only smelling me in passing as we all work on our feet walking around. I imagine this would easily trigger people who have scent based allergies or anyone with major asthma. For that reason if you have anyone in your life like that I wouldn't even consider buying it. Also the scent is pretty overwhelming to the person who is using it and I could imagine it leading to headaches or more. While I do love how my hair looks and feels I absolutely wouldn't recommend this based on the scent.

I absolutely love this shampoo. I am familiar with their brand and have a few of their products. This shampoo smells so lovely. The shampoo had a wet paste consistency. Usually, when I use salt scrubs they have a coarse salt texture. The shampoo was easy to apply and gave a generous lather. While the shampoo does wash out cleanly, I would recommend spending an extra few minutes to ensure all the fine bits of salt is washed off. The shampoo left my scalp feeling so clean and smelled so amazing!
